Steam and Discord are good alternatives. We support both. We did not support Discord until Evolve shut down for good. A shame reallu. I liked Eevolve me, had some cool map makers for Halo and Halo: CE using it for a while but I have now lost contact with them all.

Members and guests... I am posting here to make all aware that Evolve has shut down permaneantly, I only found out today myself. This means that this clan will no longer support Evolve and support only Steam. Sadly, this page on Evolves site shows the outage and this page explains what has happened....

What I miss?

Yes. We restarted the dedicated server and they worked. Not sure what's going on there. We're still having trouble with our CoD World at War servers that keep shutting down without any reason.

Well true to his word, Chalkie has spent the better part of 2 hours assisting me with our CS:GO servers today and trying to figure out what was wrong with them. You could make your youtube name and clan name with ALT's to make it more unique like a lot of players do nowadays for that reason.

Update.

Bert an idea. Try 4x2GB as it may be that the board only allows you to have 8GB in that configuration. May also be worth checking the clock speed as well.

The above assumes you have 4 RAM slots.

A note for both Chalkie and gt24 when and if they see this post... We have still not been able to work out whats going on, I am officially stumped, and have no idea what to do. Our servers are not likely to total over 1500 connections. Even if it did, we seem to be well within the limit that Chalkie...

Also... when we get the CS:GO servers working, it cuts off only a few of the other CS servers.... something we cannot work out.

No Wonder you are having problems, you do realize that windows has a connection limit, trying to operate that many connections on that many ports is going to give you issues with a single server configuration. No. Only 5 are CS:GO. Look at that page. They are near the bottom. Most of our servers are Halo: CE. We have others including Call of Duty, Minecraft and more.

Trying to run 5 for now. But if you check our servers page, we're not just running CS:GO. We have 140 servers in total.
