whenever i leave my computer with steam running for a while, i come back to it being in away mode. when i move my mouse or try to switch it back, it won't work. also, if i try to play a game like csgo while this is happening, it can't retrieve things like stats, inventory, or connect to any server in the main menu. the only temporary solution i have found is either restarting steam or forcing my computer to force a reboot because somehow steam says one of my games are running even though they aren't so it won't allow my computer to restart on its own.
1. is there a permanent fix?
2. am i the only one with this problem?
note* i have tried reinstalling steam and reseting my profile
