Wow.. That's insane!Really v2.0 wrote:Just recently had this installed!
Here's mine, although it isn't as insane as yours, it's a wired connection and gets the job done.

That's not bad Andrew. I started on 20Mbps down and 2Mbps up... before I was on Virgin Media, I was on BT and although I was paying for 8Mbos, I was lucky to get 30Kbps on a good day. The reason I changed. I have consistently upgraded my connection... in a few months it will be 300Mbps/30Mbps.
I am looking for official relations with [CC].

Sweet. Yeah, I knew it wasn't a terrible speed, but compared to yours, it's such a difference! In my neighborhood, they recently implemented fiber optic internet lines underground. The HOA claims that the speeds will increase dramatically. Hopefully that will boost my speed if my family plans to upgrade our current ISP.Really v2.0 wrote:That's not bad Andrew. I just had to remove "beta." from beta.speedtest.net/# then it directed me to the right side.
I guess I have the standard/most common speed. It does the job and then some, can't complain. I don't need to have a movie downloaded in 1.1 sec either, so I'm happy with this But then again... I've never experienced high-speeds like the ones Really 2.0 has posted.

Impact, you from Norway?
I hear it gets really chilly there in the winter months!
Your connection is not terrible, it's about right and standard nowadays. At the very minimum, you can play games on it. I once had a connection with a different ISP that was so incredibly slow that I moved to my current ISP.

It wasn't actually that big of a problem we have good drainage systems in the streets I guess. The city is also located out by the coastline, in the foot of 7 mountains surrounding it, so I guess I runs back to the sea, lol.Really v2.0 wrote:168 days of rain? You cannot be serious... I bet that caused a lot of flooding didn't it? Wow!
But yeah, people were fed up eventually, lol!
